In my series “Uncaged” Branded Pony is the story of a wild horse, though longing to be free, it is still bound to it’s owners. I question how it relates to life in general, even for us. Are we held captive by the world around us? How do we gain our freedom? Do we choose a different path and race away with our head in the air snorting as we go? What does true freedom look like?
This artwork has been done in a style of abstract realism using acrylic paints, inks, engraving and pyrography.
