Description

  1. 8” x 20.5” on live edge wood

This piece was made with wood found in our woods. It was kiln dried and then sanded and sealed. Next the design drawing was put on the wood. I completed it with Pyrography, engraving, pencils, inks, acrylic paint and oil pastels.

This beautiful bird made a rare visit to our backyard and I was able to capture a photo. It was with the photo that I was able to complete both the tanager and the joy that accompanied it’s visit.
