This piece is a cross over in my work. It contains both the live edge wood and wood panel, both engraving and pyrography, along with acrylic paints and ink. The Oak wood sliver lies on top of a dreamy backdrop resembling moon light on the water. It gives off the intended bright pop of the coneflower along with the ethereal essence of the reflective water, giving it a unique sense of peace.
